Interpretation hints

Beginning at the irregular frame's shape, going through the clearly detached sceneries and the variety of symbols and finally meeting the end at seemingly unrelated texts - let's embrace the journey of "Immaterial Omnipotence".

Context and influences

The very first concept sketches were done on Jan 8, 2023. I've got the leading idea and the overall message pretty quick - this definitely was not going to be something easily recognizable.

At the same time I have started to express my interest to drone, dark ambient and noise music genres, with the primary theme quickly becoming the "Threshold of the Miraculous" by Aevangelist.

I wanted to bring my traditional art skills to the next level as well - and all those things combined had lead me to this.

Composition

The work is clearly divided into two levels of abstraction - the part above the line that is darker and more defined, in contrast to the scenery below that is devoured by light and chaos.

However, there are elements that break through and set the connection between; a serpent-like creature, and a lightning.

As it goes for the frame surrounding it all - it's part of the same play of "being not obvious", that also introduces the usage of impossible figures.

Text puzzles

There are four texts, excluding the artwork's creation year.

Three of them are anagrams.

One of the anagrams has two possible solutions, that both point to the message this artwork shall induce.
